Free standing Handstand Pushups!

Free standing handstand pushups are lots of fun, and are a great test of one of the 10 general physical skills we are trying to improve - Balance.  Get into that awesome position we all learned as children, the "Teddy bear stand". From there make sure you can balance in a headstand, so straighten your legs(keep your legs together and try and maintain the gymnastic hollow body position). Then tuck your legs back down and explode them into the air with the power of a squat jump. The momentum you create extending your legs will drive you upward, all you have to do is straighten your arms. You just kipped your first free standing handstand pushup!
